KILTON BURIALS 1722 TO 1812
There is a list of undated Burials at Kilton between 1771 and 1777 as follows:-
Joan Thorn, Sarah Thorn, Jeremiah Coles, William Dyer, Samuel Thorn (but crossed out), Elizabeth Hervy, Mary Dyer, Mary Bailey, Elizabeth Saxon, Joseph Caple, Henry Shepherd, Isaac Brake, Samuell Thorn, (Widow) Mellier, William Leversha, James Hervy.
It would seem that no-one kept the register over these years and when someone new took on the job in 1777, he had to cast his mind back as to who had been buried over the missing years!
There was also a very large gap between 1779 and 1804. Investigation has only produced 1790 to 1796 from Bishop's Transcripts
